Masterpiece CNC Prototyping LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Noah's Beacon Systems personal-safety platform, including the Noah's Beacon mobile application and associated hardware (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide and information generated through your use of the Service, including:
- Account and contact information — such as your name, email address, and phone number.
- Emergency contact information — names and phone numbers of the contacts you choose to designate, so we can notify them when you activate an alert.
- Location data — GPS coordinates collected at the time you activate a distress alert, used to help responders and contacts locate you. Location is used for safety purposes and is collected in connection with alert activation.
- Device and usage data — such as device identifiers, app activity, and diagnostic information used to operate and improve the Service.
2. How We Use Information
- To deliver the core safety function of the Service — transmitting distress alerts and notifying your designated emergency contacts.
- To provide your location to relevant parties when you activate an alert.
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service.
- To communicate with you about your account, the Service, and safety-related notifications.
3. SMS / Text Message Program
The Service uses SMS text messaging to deliver safety alerts. The following terms apply to our SMS program:
Program description
When you activate a distress alert ("SOS") through Noah's Beacon, we may send SMS text messages to the emergency contacts you have designated, notifying them of your alert and, where available, your location. These are transactional, safety-related messages tied to your use of the Service.
Consent
By providing a phone number and designating emergency contacts, you represent that you have permission to add those contacts and to have them notified on your behalf. Message recipients may opt out at any time as described below. We do not use this SMS program to send marketing or promotional content.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies and depends on your use of the Service. Messages are primarily sent when a distress alert is activated. You may also receive occasional service or confirmation messages related to the SMS program.
Costs
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier's standard messaging and data charges may apply to messages you send or receive.
Opt-out
Recipients can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After replying STOP, the recipient will receive a confirmation message and will no longer receive SMS messages from the program, except as required to confirm the opt-out.

For help, recipients can reply HELP to any message, or contact us at noah@masterpiececncprototype.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No sharing or selling of SMS opt-in data
SMS opt-in and consent data, and phone numbers collected for SMS messaging, are not shared with or sold to third parties for their marketing purposes. We share this information only with our messaging service provider strictly as necessary to deliver the messages you have requested, and as otherwise described in Section 5.
4. Location Information
Because Noah's Beacon is a safety service, location data is central to its purpose. When you activate an alert, your location (where available) may be shared with your designated emergency contacts and, where applicable, with nearby Service users or responders, so that help can reach you. You control your device's location permissions through your device settings; if location is disabled, an alert may still be sent without location.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:
- To deliver alerts — with your designated emergency contacts and, where applicable, responders or nearby Service users, when you activate an alert.
- With service providers — such as our messaging, hosting, and infrastructure providers, who process information on our behalf and only as needed to operate the Service.
- For legal reasons — when required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the safety, rights, or property of users or others.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes. We may retain alert and location records as needed for safety, support, and legal compliance.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Choices & Rights
You may review and update your account information, manage emergency contacts, and control location permissions through the app and your device settings. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information; to exercise them, contact us using the details below.
9. Children's & Minors' Privacy
The Service is intended for adults. Consistent with our Terms of Service, which require users to be at least 18 years old, the Service is not directed to minors under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. We also do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, as defined by the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you believe a minor has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
